UC The Difference have a team of IRATA trained rope technicians who cover high level window cleaning that is otherwise inaccessible. Industrial Rope Access is a growing industry and its UK safety records are high.

High Access Equipment & Cherry Pickers.

We can use a wide range of Access Equipment, from Lorry Mounted Platforms to smaller Access Equipment. Whatever your access requirements, we have the solution.

Ladders (new regulations pending).

The new legislation regarding the use of Portable Access Extension Ladders is still currently under review. Extension ladders are used only when no other option is available and on buildings that are specially fitted with ladder safety points to stabilise the ladders when in use. These safety points are generally known as Eyebolts and are tested and certified by inspectors on an annual basis. If an Eyebolt has no valid certificate, a report will be sent to our window cleaning manager. Under no circumstances can we use such a device without certification.

Traditional Squeegee and Applicator.

Even though the window cleaning industry is changing with the arrival of the Waterfed poles, there is still a place for the squeegee and applicator. This is the method of cleaning internal glass and is still favoured by the traditional window cleaners.
